FreeStyle Puzzles
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so before you read any further,
take a gander at the picture to the right. Now, if you've looked closely,
there are a few things you may have noticed.
First, unlike the other tile games included in TileMania, the puzzle shapes are not all uniform in color. Some pieces are made up of yellow and blue tiles, others yellow and red.
Second, you might have noticed a very bizzare looking piece in the lower right, which does not look like any other puzzle piece you've seen. That's right; you get to design your own shapes.
Finally, if you were paying close attention, you might have said, "Hey, wait a minute! There are only twelve squares in the puzzle shape, but the total number of squares in the puzzle pieces is...sixteen??"
That's right! The trick is, puzzle pieces can overlap, but only on identically colored tiles!
Obviously, this introduces a whole new set of challenges into the game!
